Published 11 years ago in Permaculture , Podcasts - 0 Comments

Paul Wheaton talks to George, Mike, and Kelly at the May PDC with Michael Pilarski (Skeeter) in Dayton, MT. It is day 2, focusing on ethics. Everyone shares some things they’ve learned, and Paul talks about Skeeter’s observation exercise he did in the PDC 7 years ago. Paul talks about the value for him of writing his observations down. They then get to the 3 ethics, and focus on the third ethic: returning the surplus, recently interpreted as fair share. They then learned the permaculture principles. George talks about learning by making mistakes. Kelly lists a bunch of permaculture principles, and the goals within permaculture. Paul talks about patterns in software engineering and compares it to permaculture.
