A live podcast from the Missoula Montana’s carousel with Jeff Badnock former director of the Missoula Redevelopment Agency. The carousel naturally is the primary topic of conversation. It was
community funded, it’s horses were made locally with hand carved wood by Chuck Kaparich and other members of the community, and it’s apparently quite fast! Plenty of interesting discussion of fundraising, group planning, and community dynamics for this project make this podcast worth a listen for anyone interested in learning from veteran community organizers of large successful projects.
They finish up by talking about the Missoula Mountana farmers market and noting with great pleasure that it is larger than those of either Portland Oregon or
Denver Colorado.
